Positioning architecture intended to support repeatable flight paths and georeferenced mission records.
Cloud Seeding UAV Concept
The RM-120 is a DroneDash concept exploring unmanned cloud-seeding operations using modular payloads and precision dispersal. Derived from the GDA80 multirotor configuration, it brings a heavy-lift airframe idea together with mission sensing, metering and release systems.
Concept under development. The RM-120 is not a production or commercially deployed aircraft. Payload, endurance, weather protection and operating altitude are subject to engineering and flight validation.

Payload architecture
Proposed modular payload enclosure with removable access panels and pressure-equalisation venting. Internal storage and dispensing configuration will depend on the selected seeding medium.
Controlled dispersion concept
Aircraft architecture
Proposed subsystems are shown as elements of the engineering concept, not as certified production equipment.
Positioning architecture intended to support repeatable flight paths and georeferenced mission records.
A proposed sensor set for observing local atmospheric conditions during mission planning and flight.
An avionics enclosure concept designed around exposure to demanding atmospheric environments.
A proposed independent height-sensing input for situational awareness within the flight-control architecture.
Metered outlets intended to distribute selected seeding media in a controlled release pattern.
A proposed reinforced aluminium enclosure with removable access panels and pressure-equalisation venting.
Mission-configurable ideas
The payload bay is conceived around interchangeable dispensing approaches. Media selection, handling and release would depend on mission requirements, regulation, atmospheric assessment and validation.
Intended mission sequence
Cloud seeding is conditional on suitable atmospheric conditions. This concept does not imply guaranteed rainfall or guaranteed enhancement.
Plan and navigate an unmanned mission toward an assessed target area.
Use the selected payload concept to release seeding material at an intended location.
Support processes intended to enhance precipitation under suitable conditions, without guaranteeing an outcome.
Design targets · not certified
These describe the intended architecture only. Final configuration and performance remain subject to engineering, integration and flight validation.
